They didn't pull him off the card until he refused to do his basic media obligations. It's part of the job, even the Diaz brothers do it.

Conors last FW fight was 5 months ago. If you want any champ who has been inactive 5 months to be cut then apply it to everyone. If he fights within 12 months then he is within his right to keep his title given that nearly every other champ often has 12 month+ layoffs. Provided it is not a routine delay. Someone like Aldo and Cain just routinely don't fight for long periods of time and its annoying.
 
This guy is quite literally the biggest hypocrite I've ever seen in Zuffa. I dare say he could give DW a run for his money.

And this is the part that totally blows my mind. His huggers bought every word this clown said as if it were gospel. Yet he is doing and saying every fucking thing he and his huggers ever made fun of.

I know Conor is a complete joke. But, how do the huggers even cheer for this guy ? He is everything you've scorned for two yrs. I'm just going with the assumption that his fans are all teenagers that are too stupid to see the hypocrisy of it all.

This whole "Conor is scared of Diaz", "Conor is afraid of Frankie" is absurd. I honestly don't think he is interested in either of those fights because the money isn't as big as other bouts available to him. Additionally, his team and he don't want to cut to 45 again (as pointed out by Gunni on The MMA Hour) and who can blame the guy when he can make more money taking other fights and not having to go thru that hellish cut. After 194, his coach said that was the last time that you will see him at 145 and I have reason to believe that will hold true. Im sure the UFC wants him to do that and as such, this is why we are hearing about the Mayweather bout which further proves my point that Conor is afraid of nobody, as beating Mayweather in boxing is more difficult than Conor beating Jon Jones in MMA...it is simply where the money is and that is what motivates the man.

Your post might have some meaning if Conor had actually defended the belt at least once since winning it , in stead he moved up weight lost a fight and then wanted a rematch rather then defend his title

I'd rather see him defend the title but, if he's going to continue to do the opposite while taking on other fights, then he should be stripped. No other champion past or present would be allowed to do what Conor's doing.

but he just won it in December, its not like Conor doesnt fight regularly lol

if he doesnt defend it, or has no intention of defending it Id agree, it should be stripped or he should vacate it. But the sillyness from his haters needs to end. its just getting ridiculous

as I said in my previous post, I can agree with some of what you say. But Conor fights regularly and only won it in december. some champions only defend the belt once per year. as long as Conor does defend it within the year, I dont see how anyone can complain?

I never said he wasn't an active fighter but i do have a problem with him screaming for a rematch with Nate after that loss he should of put his focus back into defending his belt and not holding up the division making two fighters fight for a fake belt

He is not holding up the division....imo Edgar vs Aldo was the correct fight to make regardless of what Conor was doing, Aldo just got KO'd...longest reigning FW champ and he beat Frankie...that fight imo makes the most sense atm, then the winner as stated will fight Conor for the belt or be the champ is Conor doesnt go back to FW.

He is definitely not holding shit up...the way this is playing out actually makes a ton of sense ranking wise...but unfortunately Conor haters just want any reason to attack him.
