Like @Get To Da Choppa said, if he does fight for a heavyweight title he should defend or vacate his first as to not log jam a division.
I'd like to see it though.
No fighter has shown to be good against Alex's calf kicks. Its gonna take someone with a gameplan like Charles had against Justin to neutralize him. I don't see this from Gane.Gane is good at avoiding power while scoring with his own strikes. And he wouldn't have to worry about being taken down.
Check out the GOAT standing next to some fat, bald guy wearing the same wallpaper that’s in my Grandma’s bathroom. He scales to his opponent's size. He stood next to Tyson Fury and didn't look small.

Might be the first guy since Carwin to cut height as well as kg.Dude fought at MW and doesn't look outsized against a big HW
This dude's frame makes no sense lol
To be fair, Francis proved that Fury is at best 6'6".He scales to his opponent's size. He stood next to Tyson Fury and didn't look small.

They hesrd Francis was planning to wrestle due to his knee issue. They have said this. They also said they didn't believe it. That's just stupidity on their end.Same thing was said when facing Francis
Take nothing for granted in this “sport”
Does he? Ngannou out grappled him pretty easily.I think Gane would take Pereira down tbh. People let the Jones loss make them forget he has a decent ground game. I think maybe if Pereira beats Ankalaev it's a real possibility.
Poatan could easily add some mass and own the HW Division
Gane is a 230-240 hw and he kind dwarfed Alex tbh.
Only if Alex doesn't add even more good weight to his frame and Gane implements some grappling. Otherwise the size doesn't seem like much of an issue.I love Pereira, but Ciryl Gane is too big for him.
