Stipe fighting anyone at this level in 2024 is a stupid idea and the UFC is intent on making it happen. Aspinall defending an interim title is also an inherently stupid idea. There's not a non-stupid answer to OP's question.

if Tom can beat Gane and maybe generate some attention it might be a fight worthy of Jones

but to date Tom has had 1 PPV in his entire careeer
