Now that the SF guys are all coming over, it got me thinking about which purchase of another org did Zuffa benefit from the most as far as talent goes?

To refresh your memory i made a list of fighters who came in from each purchase.

PRIDE:
Mirko Cro Cop
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
Fabricio Werdum
Mark Hunt
Mark Coleman
Dan Henderson
Mauricio Rua
Sokoudjou
Kazuhiro Nakamura
Ryo Chonan
Akihiro Gono
Marcus Aurelio

Affliction:
Ben Rothwell
Paul Buentello
Chase Gormley
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
Vladimir Matyushenko
Vitor Belfort
Paul Daley
Takanori Gomi
Dan Lauzon
Rafaello Oliveira
Javier Vazquez
Mark Hominick
LC Davis
Deividas Taurosevicius

WEC: (counting only the bigger name guys who eventually came over to the UFC cuz there was a shitload)
Chael Sonnen
Brian Stann
Mark Munoz
Johny Hendricks
Carlos Condit
Aaron Simpson
Benson Henderson
Donald Cerrone
Anthony Pettis

PRIDE > Strikeforce > WEC.

^^ he's probably a HW only fan

WEC, WEC, WEC. Adding those 2 weight classes are some of the best choices the UFC has ever made.

Yeah I would agree WEC. The biggest names from SF are older guys who won't contribute for as long. Other than Rockhold and Rousey, pretty much all the major SF figures are past their athletic prime.

WEC, Strikeforce, Pride, Affliction, WFA, IFL in that order

Toss-up between WEC and Strikeforce.

Strikeforce talent was a powerhouse, but strictly talking top 5 talent per weight-class, WEC had more.

But SF had bigger names.. Overeem, Diaz, ect..

Daniel Cormier says hi.

thats not a real easy answer

WEC by far! SF and Pride got them bigger names though

Pride had the most stars
WEC had the most talent
Strikeforce is still in its transition so its unfair to judge it yet

WFA was a surprising bang for there buck considering Dana said they did it just to get Rampages contract

Zuffa did not purchase Affliction, they got Barnette'd on their own
