Gabe you seen THE IRWINS on animal planet? they finally come out with a decent reality show. Love to see Steve's kids carry his legacy at the Australia Zoo. They are definitely doing things proper there. I cried for sure the first episode.

Little lizard with a rebreather. Scientists don't know the exact mechanism its using but they have pretty long dive times for something that isn't specifically aquatic.

Meet Machali- perhaps the most legendary tigress who ever lived.

Machali (Hindi for "fish"; code name: T-16;[2] c. 1996 – 18 August 2016), also known as Machli or Machhli, was a Bengal tigress who lived in Ranthambore National Park in India. She played a key role in the regeneration of the tiger population in the park in the early 2000s, and was celebrated with titles such as Queen Mother of Tigers, Tigress Queen of Ranthambore, Lady of the Lakes, and Crocodile Killer. She was considered India's most famous tigress, and on her death was considered the world's oldest tigress living in the wild

She generated about $10 million annually for India due to tourist interest, and it is claimed she is the most photgraphed tiger of all time. She lived to the ripe old age of 19 (tigers usually die before 15) and gave birth to 4 healthy litters of kittens (most never have more than 2). She was also notorious for her crocodile hunting skills.

And her most amazing feat:

Then she raised a litter of cubs in her older years without any canine teeth. That’s incredible.

She defended her cubs from full-grown male tigers, which are significantly bigger. And she won over and over and over. Male tigers are regularly credited with killing cubs because, just like lions, if the cubs are killed the female will become ready for breeding.

But she was able to protect all of her litters over and over again. And again, she did these things on camera.

Tigers eat so many village living Indians every year. They put masks on the back of their heads just to go gather food and water in the marshy forests. Kind of fascinating stuff. Remember that video of the girl getting out of the car and snatched by the tiger. They are so freaking strong.
