Zookeeper Gabe's Animal Thread V6.0

Hey Gabe, i made a mistake of getting friendly with a Squirrel that came in our backyard. I started feeding him peanuts and he came closer and closer to the door. Unfortunately he's gotten so brave and comfortable that he gnawed a hole threw the screen door and came inside! All of a sudden i see him chilling on the kitchen table, I was like" get the fuck out of here". He's came back a few times! I dont know what to do.
Just be glad you weren't feeding a bear.

They are ridiculously cute and without researching that place any more I hope it's a good place. Although the one feeding video with the juveniles they really should have placed more feeding stations.

Bwhahah. There's a fish Anne's after juggalos? Or is it a morph?

@Zookeeper Gabe
It's a Davinci morph. So, a morph of a morph.

@TrippleOG Most aren't hybrids, there is some cross breeding of species for certain ones, but most are just morphs. I used to breed black Ocellaris, the black and white ones, and every odd once in awhile I'd get a partial orange one.

The holy grail of clown fish, lighting maroon. She was collected from the wild that way. There's been a couple of generations produced, but most didn't have the same pattern.

@Blood Python How goes the hydoid battle?

That's awesome Jefferz one day I'll do saltwater , until then I'll just be jealous of those guys on that show Tanked. I always wanted monster acrylic tank with a leopard grouper , triggers puffers lionfish.

That show pisses me off. Almost every one of the fish you see on that show probably died. Google the church tank. They never cycle the tanks and plop the fish in. Cycling should at least take a month if not longer.
The other show is much better.

Puffers and lion fish together are a no no. Eventually the puffer will nip the lion and chaos will ensue.

I guess it's all about money because they seem to buy a lot of Rare Fish from that Sea Dwelling Creatures place. I would think the owners don't care what happens to the fish once they sell them. As long as they get their money and publicity also from the show. I like the show though.

And i didn't mean keeping those species together i mean i wanted either of those species at one point growing up as a kid. Even at the Petco i worked at when i was 16, they had some legit Saltwater fish back in the day in each little tank. I remember feeding the Grouper, and there was some crazy eel also that came out snatching fish.

Our female tree Roo had some issues the past week and we had to do some Supplemental bottle feeds on our Joey. Sometimes work is ok

I grew up not too far from here, and I've never heard of deer being anywhere near the ocean.

i used to visit a lil island town in north carolina called sunset beach and you would see groups of deer swimming from the mainland to get to the island. was pretty cool

I have a bunch of geckos. Rhacodactylus leachianus (leachies for short) are rare and also the worlds largest gecko. They're amazing to keep because they have so much personality and they're vocal. They let out chirps, barks, whistles, snorts, and puffs. They come from New Caledonia which is made up of several islands. Due to evolution, each leachie gecko that is found on a specific island has their own unique traits. For example, leachies found in island A will be smaller but more colorful than leachies on island B. Leachies from island C will be much larger and have a different snout shape than leachies from island D, etc.

I also have chahoua geckos which come from New Caledonia as well and have a very prehensile tail. They have great personalities and are fun to watch. They remind me of monkeys in lizard form.

Oh fuck yeah man. I love them, I actually breed gargoyles am will be getting leachies or chewies sometime in the next year. Beautiful lizards

@Zookeeper Gabe I remember a few years ago I posted a pic of a gecko on here and you told me you had gargoyles. Glad to see you're still breeding them. Amazing how you can breed them for their different colors and morphs. Let me know if you have any questions with leachies or chewies and I'll be glad to help. You won't regret keeping them!

Nice thanks man, I've been pretty successful with my gargoyles. I just got a new male, I haven't introduced him to my two ladies yet. My last male prolapsed (dick fell out for those that don't know) and despite a couple hundred bucks and get visits he still didn't make
It.
I currently have one hold back with tons of red on her. I'm excited for her to get a bit bigger so I can breed her. Where are you located again? Are you breeding a lot?

This video delivers. Seriously.
