Khamzat will try to bumrush TDs on Whittaker with no setup with the strikes and gas himself out trying and then Rob will take over & finish Khamzat with strikes

I’m kinda weirdly feeling this as well. I think it’s gonna be a blowout either way.
And the way the UFC seems to be moving away from pushing Chimaev makes me think the momentum is not in his favor.

People say Chimaev has hands of death but all I see is wild punching and Whitaker has proven he can still take a punch and stand up from wrestlers.
I just don't see Chimaev winning situations in a prolonged fight but I also hate him.

Chimaev needs to do damage early and a lot of it. We have already seen him slow down quite a bit and get sloppy.

Whittaker is a savage.. he does not back down and does not gives up.

I think Robert wins.. would like to see something special from Khamzat but I don't think it is going to happen

I too predict we see a lot of stalling in this fight that gets rationalized by idiot Chimaev fans as control

Khamzat is in his prime and hasn't fought for 12 months.

The Reaper is age wise in his prime. Injury and mileage wise not though.
He still looks prime though.
But he plays a lot of video games and has 5 children to take care.

Whitaker had nothing for DDP on the ground. Probably did not train that much grappling vs the kickboxer though.
This time he will be prepared.

Rob is winning this in a clear UD, IMO.
I can't see him being finished in the first, I think he has -unlike Usman without knees- the agility and range management to not let Khamzat unleash his early onslaught.

That said, if Rob manages to cancel the surge, Khamzat should have cardio for at least 2 RD.
I see Khamzat fading during the 3rd.

Khamzat has very powerful hands and a chin, can't see Rob going for the kill if he can make it to a dominant decission.
