Forgive my ignorance, but what's so special about a dusty old guy they trucked into the ring to fight Jack Johnson? You take anybody with 6 years off from boxing and bring them back without a tuneup to fight a top notch fighter and what do you get? A turkey shoot. Was it the cultural significance or something because Johnson's win in 1908 might trump that.
