Your BJJ / Judo belts

Judo- blue after 2 years (should be higher but I've only been able to get away for a few gradings)

I have trained bjj 9 mounths six or five times a week. And i am a Judo orange belt

In Judo I am amm white belt, been doing it 1.5 years, but I swithced schools so that is probably why.

BJJ - White, 10 Months in

Judo - White - never took a class in my life

BJJ: 3 stripe blue belt training 4 1/2 years
Judo: Green belt from a long time ago but I do well against judo black belt standing

Man you have done very well in Judo. Brown in 3,5 years. Great job

I'ts not bad. But we in Finland have the hardest belt requirements in judo in the whole damn world, so it's not like his brown could be compared to your orange.

Meh? 10 years of judo, blue belt (might try out for the brown next year). At the moment I train approx. 8 times a week.

BJJ - White belt no stripes 8 months.

BJJ - blue belt 6 yr (5 of which are as a blue)
Judo - 3rd Brown 1 yr of training
JJJ - Black 8 yr
wrestling - 0 and dont ask me if I wrestled just because I am short with puffy ears!

BJJ Blue aprox. 5 1/2 years... a little bit more maybe

bjj white - 3 months. at least i am now getting to where I can extend the time between tapping
Would love to find a judo School around Tuscaloosa Alabama if anyone knows one.

Culd not agree more, relly hard to get belts.

I started training both in early 2001, but have had my training interupted by deployments and injuries a few times, so:

Judo- Sankyu (Brown)
BJJ- Blue Belt

When I moved, I registered under USJF, and never went to a promotional, so I competed as a blue (we didn't have blue at my old school).

I think armbar is against elbow and armlock is like keylock or kimura

Not saying it NOT true - but there is room for doubt...

Damn, forums are making me SO sceptical of everything!!!

Judo - White Belt, started about 3 weeks ago as a 22 year old. Anyone know any good resources for my training, and by any chance if any is from St. John's, NL and looking for extra training let me know. You can private message if you want rather than waste space on this thread.
