Gordon Lightfoot routinely plays in Montana still. From what I hear, he isn't much of a performer anymore. But fuck, what a song writer.

must be a fairly nice guy too, the song "Greatest Love Of All" was a plagiarization of "If you Could Read My Mind" and he probably could have won a lot of money when the tune was at it's peak with Whitney Houston, he said something to the effect that she had nothing to do with what the songwriter did and let it go.

The song was first sung in the mid 70's movie on Muhammad Ali's life, The Greatest by George Benson but really was a smash for Whitney a decade or so later.
