10 million is pretty decent money. But I'd try to be very wise with it. Just don't overspend and invest on homes mostly.

I'd spend 1.5 million on land and building a retirement log home on a lake with all the trappings.

The remaining 8.5 million would be for future property taxes and fishing lures.

I would give 2 mill to each my son and his mother, 1 to my girl and keep 5. Invest 2 mill, buy a cheap house at the ocean somewhere sunny and drink myself to death.
