Tom has fought in nearly two years, in his previous, he didn't get much cage time.
This fight against Gane showed many of the fears we all had about him.
His lack of footwork, he looked tired after bouncing around two minutes, his takedown was so weak, lacked follow up takedowns.

The eye poke was bad, he kept saying i can't see right away, which meant he was calling quits not even giving it time.
He also kept touching the eye and that only makes things worse, like when you break your nose you don't blow it because your eyes shut closed.

If the rematch has in December, he is done, he will get finished. He needs to train better not make so many YouTube videos.

I've hyped Aspinall up since he joined the UFC. But I've also pointed out that he has certain technical deficiencies on the feet, which he generally makes up for with speed and power.

Gane is the only HW on the roster who has the athleticism and technical striking to exploit Aspinall's striking flaws. And, despite sherdoggers' assertions to the contrary, Aspinall isn't a great wrestler. Which is why I thought Gane would give Aspinall major problems.

Gane’s hand speed was giving Aspinall problems.

He wasn’t breathing heavy because he was gassed, he was breathing from the mouth because he got his nose all bloodied up.

December seems too soon for a turnaround.
