You all do realize Chael will be retired by Jones right?

At 240 lbs he can't make a cut to 185 anymore, and he already got trashed by Anderson twice anyway, so now he's headed up to 205 to fight the 25 year old phenomen and the greatest fighter MMA has ever seen.

What will happen to the Sonnen fans when April rolls around and whatever's left of him announces he's retiring after Jones takes him out?

Sonnen via inverted heel hook

retired huh bwahahahaha go lick jones nuts some more. Atleast Sonnen is a likeable guy and dont turn down fights. He may not win but hes alot cooler and more well liked than bones.

So?

Nice money in the bank, then a career in studio talking about MMA.

the only way to permanently defeat chael is to wire his mouth shut - if you dont go that far, he might be heading to the HW division for an instant title shot after this one

I bet he has a couple more 205 fights before its over. If not, He will roll into his long career as a UFC commentator. Dude has personality and knows how to stay relevant. In the cage or out, we'll be seeing Chael for a long time to come.

Sonnen's in it for the exposure and the pay day. Buildin' dat brand.

Too bad his health is in shambles from abusing steroids. He'll have to use that for the rest of his life.

Is this serious? I know a certain 185'er who'd have something to say about that.

When it's all said and done Jones will have surpassed Anderson's records and would beat Anderson to a pulp, at 25 he's already better than anyone else to have ever fought, imagine where he'll be at 30.

Stopped reading at Jones "greatest fighter mma has ever seen".

He has achieved mainstream penetration so he'll probably continue to take on token fights. I see a Forrest Griffin rematch in the horizon.

Someone is swinging on Jones' nuts HARD.

No idea what you have against Sonnen. He's getting a big pay day fight and who better to lose against than the current best?

Cains dad might have been able to get by boarder police, but there is no way in hell his son is going to get by chael

Chael vs Rampage
Chael vs Forrest
Chael vs Glover
Chael vs Franklin (any weight)
Chael vs Vitor (any weight)

All would be good fights.

How could you possibly know this without being his doctor? The simple act of using steroids is not dangerous as long as it's done properly.
