I dont think there has been anyone to top the Cuban in sheer destruction of fighters. Not just the way he finishes but the aftermath.

Start with Tim Kennedy, yes controversial but brutal finish and Tim hasn't been finished in that way and didn't win again and is now retired.

Derek Brunson didn't fight for another 8 months and was most likely pissing blood for weeks after those elbows. Also been Ko'd 3 times after.

Clifford Starks gets kneed to Bellator

Ronny Markes had never been Kod and was 14-1. After Yoel he went 4-5 and sent from the UFC

Machida had only been Ko'd once before by Shogun and then after these brutal hellbows, I dont think he would have usually been Ko'd by Brunson straight after if it weren't for Yoel

Idk I don't think he is a great fighter. Gifted yes, beyond all mortals he is gifted but he stinks as a fighter IMO. His striking is based off of instinct not technique and he doesn't set up his takedowns with strikes. I know he's obviously effective but I don't think he is a great fighter at all. His cardio is not great and holds his hands at his hips halfway thru every fight that goes past the 2nd round. Great talent, yes for sure. Great fighter, no.
