Hot Take Yoel Bromero cant wrestle anymore

Yoel already reached max level, so he stopped leveling up

<DCWhoa>

Not sure about the point scoring as I don’t really follow wrestling (real or fake), but I’d think the judges there know what they’re doing… Or are they as bad as in MMA? lol
Was a bit rough, when Yoel scored 4 points, didnt look like it was correct. Pat also didnt score anything so its all irrelevant anyways lol

Bo has enough problems with adding this guy to the mix
I agree. Bo needs to continue focusing on striking, submission defense and MMA wrestling. While it would be fun to see him wrestle Romero, it would require special training and gameplanning (how to stop an old freaky athletic juicehead from driving you out of the circle) that wouldn't help him in MMA.

Can't believe he made a post crying about it after getting completely shut out by a 50 year old man. Yea the 4 was probably wrong, but you did nothing at all. Take your L

What?! I had no idea this happened. That's great to see.

Pat Downey is legit too, not some random dude. Only 33. Former All-American. Made some world teams. He was still competing in amateur wrestling as recently as 2021 iirc. Competed in the Olympic trials.

Regardless of how he looks, just getting on the mat and looking competitive is quite mad at almost 50 years of age. Not to mention he's a got a fused neck and has suffered other injuries throughout his career. He is truly one of the freakiest athletes out there. It would have been very interesting to have seen Yoel in the UFC a few years earlier than he was. I'm sure he would have held the belt if so.
If Yoel entered MMA after the 2000 Olympics I'm convinced he would have been the GOAT.

Yoel and Brock are two of the biggest what ifs in MMA. Genetic outliers that started MMA very late and did well. Had they started earlier I could see them holding the belts for a long time. The only MW that would be a problem for Yoel is Anderson when he sees the Matrix.

Prime Anderson was a difficult test for anyone, but I'd wager it would still end up looking something like this:

Also this is freestyle and not folkstyle where Bo excels
While being similar, its still pretty different in freestyle from folkstyle how things play out and get scored

Yoel could KO old man Anderson in a boxing ring.

I know fighters don't care but but you have to have serious balls to get in the cage with that animal.

he just has low Ram. If he's gonna wrestle he has to open task manger and force quit striking.exe and if he's gonna strike he has to force quit wrestling.exe. He doesn't have enough ram to run them both at once. He opts to quit wrestling.exe when he does MMA.

As far a gaththje goes, the CTE corrupted his C: drive causing his wrestling.exe to get deleted completely.
