UFC is more willing to pay somebody who may be a bit past it in Pitbull who at least has a built up a large reputation in MMA vs Parnasse who barely anyone knows about (only the most hardcore) and isn't tested against too high of competition.

Patricio is one of the best FWs of all time.

Diego Nunes was a top 5 UFC FW in 2011 having just beaten Assuncao, Gamburyan and MTB. Kenflo got a UFC title shot against Aldo after beating Nunes.

1 1/2 years later he goes to Bellator and Patricio starches him in a minute. 1st time he was ever finished.

Prime Patricio was in a shark tank of FW which was one of the best non UFC divisions ever and top guys could have easily competed with any of the top UFC FWs at the time. Curran, Straus, Frodo, Weichel, Sandro, Georgi, Warren, Sanchez..... LOL stop it boi before someone smack the shit out you. Yair wasn't even as good as some of those FWs in their primes never mind Patricio.

Patricio will lose because he is washed and made the career altering decision to make the 135 cut way too deep in his career. He is still fighting unlike a TJ who killed his career with the cut but he isn't the same guy. Prime Patricio bodybags prime Yair. He was better all around and has the far better resume. He's beaten many fighters better than Yair and Patricio is a top 10 FW of all time EASY.
