They are based on who the media "feels" is better. It's in the criteria.

It's kinda funny to me because people bicker all the time over who is better in this forum, but then they expect some rankings to be foolproof.

-Zombie vs Zabit should be booked asap, UFC 240 is possible since Zombie took no damage. If not possiblle, this fight should probably be 5 rounds anyway so we can see if Zabit can hang in championship rounds.

i mean to be fair i think KZ proved he was the better fighter, he was about to win that decision until the hail mary elbow.


KZ also bounced back and just beat a top 10 guy, and yair hasn't fought since.
