They'll probably go full woke and make a ginger female societal outcast the most powerful characterNgl my first thought upon seeing this thread is that they'll ruin the show with wokeism nonsense.
I always hated that Magneto costume, but his animations look like a step up from the '97 stuff
Let sleeping dogs lie. They always trying to throwback something. The 90s were great because they were the 90s.
The X-Men has literally always been political, so it's weird that people keep saying this.Hopefully this shit doesn’t end up being woke/political. Looks promising tho

I agree kind of but at the same time I'm like fuck it let them try it. My thoughts are this wont be any good but what if I'm wrong? Either way I wont lose anything by them trying.
I’m a firm believer that every time a conservative complains about something being woke, another letter gets added to LGBTQ+ and another they/them person announces their pronouns. The X-Men has literally always been political, so it's weird that people keep saying this.

Like what? The show isn't even out yet lmaothere’s a difference in stuff like this interaction between doom and X versus the stuff disneys trying to shoehorn in now.

What pandering is in this arc of marvel movies tho?Idk about the show, that’s why I said I hope they don’t try to make it super political or cater to a specific audience. P4 of MCU/Disney has focused more on diversity and pandering than quality itself. Outside of Shang chi and no way home pretty much everything has been lackluster with characters nobody gives a shit about. MCU actually needs X-men and doom to come save them.

They wouldn't come back the same wayWish they revived Batman and Superman the animated series
shoot even justice league
Fair enough, but I think this phase is weaker for other reasons than diversity. The comics are very, very diverse. We're only now starting to get a tiny bit of that diversity and some people are already saying too many women, minorities, gays, etc.they made an entire phase around secondary characters/low profile that happen to be almost entirely women or minorities. Which is fine, but the quality has been shit(unlike black panther and captain marvel), there’s no common storyline between the movies and the content/backstory behind the characters was pretty shitty. It’s hard to believe that they put a ton of effort into this phase rather than just wanting to diversify. I wanted to like Falcon/ws, black widow, Hawkeye, Thor and Dr strange but they were all pretty weak and left us with nothing. Spodermon, Shang chi and moon knight were good though.
At least we knew in the p1-3/infinity saga that things were coming together.. this saga/phase is just a mess. We know Loki is in a kang universe, strange is with clea going to the dark dimension, falcon is cap now, Eternals are ??? there’s a Hawkeye teenager, a replacement black widow, Thor is now raising a daughter who apparently is capable of wielding stormbreaker and some characters are gay. There really is no current arc or villains to look forward too.
X-men/f4 has a lot of potential though because there are tons of great characters that we actually want to see like x, wolverine, magneto, cable, rogue, Pheonix, storm, mystique etc.. nobody gives a shit about what we got/are getting in p4 like she hulk, Kate bishop, falcon, moon knight and ms marvel.
