Said actor was a professional football player and prone to experiencing botches/stiff hits despite his profession. So long as he knew how to throw a punch and cut off the octagon (or wherever they fight), his skill deficit would be met by the size disparity in his favor.

Huerta same size as conor has done little in comparison to McGregor and KTFO a 260lbs NFL linemen. Pros > joes.

Some like Brock with real wrestling would tie him in a knot though.

It very well could be, but I'm not going to think that an actor (who admittedly played pro football years back) is going to be better at fighting than a pro fighter. If they fought tomorrow, you'd be a clown to think the actor would have the better chance.
