Social WTF Elon ????????????????

Guy whos greatest idea was to create this thread about a guy that has created many companies and advanced entire industries, is somehow a fool because everyone else was always 100% on their ideas kind of like this one By Nikola Tesla.

What brilliant idea did Elon Musk come up with?
He couldn't even think of an original name for his cars.
He is entirely reliant on you THINKING he is like the great risky brilliant minds of the past. In truth he is sitting on a fortune and will do anything to stay in the public eye.
Dude is getting huge amounts of taxpayer money as if there aren't hundreds of other incredible genius real engineers who didn't grow up with rich mining apartheid parents who have engineered the shit out of groundbreaking stuff in the realms of tech, biotech, chemistry, material science, aerospace etc...

You must be very, very young. Did you know that Jimmy Carter installed solar panels on the White House?

Did you know that in 1914, Henry Fords wife drove an electric car called the Detroit Electric that went over 25 miles per hour and could go 240 miles between charges?

Good luck to Elon and all the does. I am still going to reserve the right to call out the goofball ideas.

His next idea is going to Mars and starting a colony. Sounds like a terrible escape plan for the elites, after the people learn of the massive deceit and distortion they have created.

I think Cohagan is behind all that scam.

Have you ridden a subway in a major city? Fuck t

You realize he started PayPal, SolarCity and Space X?

He does more than sell luxury cars

Granted he doesn’t hit on every idea but the man sees a problem and creates a solution

What major cities Subways gave you problems?

Jesus. I have a great idea. Howz about we make the tunnel a little bigger, then we can put bigger vehicles in that carry lots of people. We could call it a subway.

You cannot draw a conclusion to what he is showing today you have to understand his message. If you see movies they are building buildings up to the clouds to make room for people in 3D space but the roads are in 2D space in most areas. He believes one way to fix this problem is to have computer controlled high speed underground roads that moves the traffic along faster. In LA to dig a 1 mile path 40 feet underground it would normally cost 1 billion for that one mile he did the same distance for 10 million of his own money. He admits that he has to bore ten times faster and 1/1000th the price in his eyes to convince people and the new holes will be much larger. He's not a fan of flying cars because he see where it would be much harder to handle the traffic flow in the air and nose.

You realize his entire wealth is tied to Tesla's stock price, right?
No way. Guys on that level don't put all their eggs in one basket. He got rich off paypall and then went off and did other things.

He also didn't found SolarCity: he bailed it out as a favor to his relatives who led it toward bankruptcy (because their whole family is rich industrialists, despite his desire to be seen as an engineer). The company has been rapidly shrunk.

The dude is addicted to headlines and the disease of "serial entrepreneurism". He hasn't actually stuck with any of his prior companies an is a complete freakshow of a person.
Musk's entire wealth is not tied to Tesla but the bulk of it is. But he put investments and has ownership in SpaceX & SolarCity which could both pay off separate of Tesla.

Elon's family was not rich or even wealthy when he started and sold PayPal. He then used his own cash to start and get coinvestors for his subsequent endeavours and when money almost ran out he went All-In and put everything he had at risk of going to zero. No one should doubt the guy has balls and commitment and him dong that was exactly what spurred others to invest and which started this current big run..

i don't know where you hate for him comes from but almost nothing you say is correct. He saw thru Paypal from founding to exit and he has stuck with all these other companies through thick and thin.

Other companies are building electric vehicles too; the idea he is some special snowflake is a fairytale.
Musk has spent over a decade to build a sports car with a touchscreen where you can play arcade games. But of course if you ask him, it's a life or death matter the civilization depends on.
He literally forced the entire auto industry to change to engage him when none of them had the will or desire to push electric cars, in any big or sustained way prior.

Even if Tesla failed no one cold deny that he changed the industry.

(that is not some type of weird hater anyway)

He didnt start paypal or solar city.
He did start PayPal (along with the guys of Confinity). When you bring two prior companies together and form a new team with the founding stock those guys are the ones who started the NEW entity.

And he was a Founding Shareholder, the largest shareholder, and Chairman of Solar City so he can certainly lay claim to being part of the start team even if he did not have an every day operational role.

You must be very, very unintelligent if you think you just proved something...

"What Elon Musk is doing is not simply giving us the next app that will be awesome on our smartphone," deGrasse Tyson says. "No, he is thinking about society, culture, how we interact, what forces need to be in play to take civilization into the next century."

He was fired as ceo while it was xcon. Paypal formed after that

Tesla actually invented stuff though.

PayPal was a success.
