Trash pandas.....

I like raccoons too, but just not nearly as much as possums.

An opossum will literally come up to you and let you feed it (with time). And it generally doesn't carry diseases. A raccoon will jump out of your dumpster at 1:00 in the morning and scare the shit out of you, and does carry diseases. Both will rummage through your trash, but raccoons are in my experience much messier in doing so. I've got pictures of the possums that used to come up to me on my porch, but idk where.

Signs of desperation.

I just want a TES game without 9000000000 bugs at release.

Is that too much to ask?

It's fucking Bethesda, of course it's too much to ask for

I need to update my tower PC so I can play it on there instead of my Xbox. Why? SO I CAN GET THE UNOFFICIAL PATCH MOD LIKE WEEK 2!

I don't care about bugs at release. They fix them quickly enough. I juat want a new TES game.

Although I am worried about how dumbed down levelling will be after the insane jump from Oblivion's levelling system to Skyrim's.

I didn't find Skyrim super dumbed down from Oblivion (granted, I played Oblivion when it was ported to Xbox so I was relatively young) but it could get exploited super easy.

Fucking level up smithing super fast by like making rings and iron daggers and shit then up your enchanting by putting really stupid low level stuff on the armor before selling it and you can up like three top tier skills super fast.

With the regional stratification in politics increasing, it makes me wonder if it's even possible for Democrats to take back the senate. I know there's a chance for that to happen this year and in 2022 and 2024, but the low-population states are increasingly going to dominate the more productive ones without a big shakeup. The same reality that will cause the Electoral College to favor Democrats in the future will also favor Republican senators.
Yeah, the senate is not very democratic to begin with. Those seats are like gold, more important than the potus, imo. I do have some hope for 2020,m. I haven’t researched what’s up for grabs, but I still feel a general election year will be good for the dems.

We totally need a thread on the senate races this year. Can't remember off the top of my head, but I do remember that I had some optimism for taking it back in 2020 before the 2018 seats were lost. Now it's not looking good for this year.

Wow, what makes you think that? Do they have history? His seat is probably the least safe of any Senator.

Yeah, he and Brown and their families are good friends. And Brown is objectively awesome. I don't know about the vulnerability of his seat, and I'm sure that factors into the calculus, but he's a guy from an important state, who Sanders has allied with before, and who shares his platform.

He supposedly said any potential running mate wouldn't be an old white dude, but who knows how serious that was. Ro Khanna, Nina Turner, and Keith Ellison would also, I suspect, be on his short-list.

Idk maybe I’m biased but I hope for Tulsi’s sake she’s been banking on an important post in a Sanders administration

I still think it's worth giving her a shot. Something not super important or related to foreign policy, but something that will make her work hard and learn Washington better.

Pass. I don't think she has any real expertise on anything, and she seems interested in foreign policy but not smart enough to do it, and not someone that I think America can trust. I think the best result for her and everyone else is that she gets her show on Fox and becomes rich and more openly awful.

hmm, there's something about her that is okay, she's fucked up for sure. I dunno, I'd really hate to see her have any kind of power that wasn't related to some domestic administrative task. Give her a cause that she can't fuck up, and get rid of her if she starts being awful. As an entertainer she could do a lot of damage.

He’d be an awesome pick. That Ohio district isn’t likely to elect another dem to replace him, though. I think the VP pick is more important than usual, so I’d be pretty disappointed with any of those other choices.

I’d be cool with that, but I have to say her email game is way, way more annoying than any of the examples I’ve seen here so far.

You were probably too young to understand how to max level in Oblivion.

That Ohio district? He's a Senator, brosephine. Fair to say that the state is more likely red than blue, though, given they've been purging voters for 10 years now.

IDK if there are any picks that are slam dunks. I really like Khanna, personally, but I don't think he achieves much electorally.

Did you have anyone in mind?
