WR Lounge v95: Now you know how I feel talking to conservative posters about literally anything

I was into Quake for a while, missed out on Doom but basically the same thing. It was a blast. That looks fun.
Hopefully Bethesda's 2020 goes better than 2019 did.

lol yes they definitely need to knock it out of the park with Elder Scrolls 6. That will get them back on my side after they ruined Fallout forever.

Which honestly isn't much at all. At the same time, don't Trumpettes have a hate boner for career politicians? That's supposed to be one of the reasons they voted for Trump right? And yet when a political outsider wins a congressional for the Dems suddenly experience is important.
It goes over their heads like the passing of the ISS in orbit.

The way they double downed it was like "did you assholes NOT see what happened when EA tried that with Battlefront 2?"

Also, Sony just dropped a trailer for Morbius, the vampire anti-hero that Spider-Man sometimes fights.

Leto may finally have found his superhero role.

Even FO4 was soulless candy apple bullshit. Utterly boring (beyond a pretty good main quest story). No grit at all.

Seriously, the way that's written up as a "please, can we just have $2.70" straight up sounds like begging. It's like the panhandler down near the free way entrance to I15 off 500 south that has the sign that says "I just need $20 for a 40"
Dude you should see the emails Yang has been sending me. Idk why I ever signed up for that one lol I was just curious about his campaign.

The amusing thing is the tone vacillates wildly between doom and gloom and ridiculous optimism. Literally in the same day I’ll get one email saying, “things are looking really bad, please chip in whatever you can” and the next is like, “this time next year Andrew will be the 46th President of the United States!!!”

Signs of desperation.

I just want a TES game without 9000000000 bugs at release.

Is that too much to ask?

It's fucking Bethesda, of course it's too much to ask for

I need to update my tower PC so I can play it on there instead of my Xbox. Why? SO I CAN GET THE UNOFFICIAL PATCH MOD LIKE WEEK 2!

anybody need a Bipod/Foregrip for a picatinny rail?

or shit, uh 'somebody' i know also has like 10 30 round mags of 5.56 if anyone could use them

they uh aren't legal in Cali
I could put all of those to good use tbh

A possum attacked and injured my cat last week.

Checkmate, animal lover.

That's wild. Sure it wasn't a raccoon? Possums are very non-aggressive and shitty at fighting.

Maybe I'm nuts, but I don't care if the game is a bit buggy. I want immersion, choice, and grit. And no voiced protagonist ffs holy god. For Fallout, I also prefer lower resolution textures. Bugs are okay, if your game isn't a little buggy, your scripters weren't ambitious enough.

SOME RPGs need a voiced protag. The Dragon Age games, Witcher all benefit from it because of how central your character is to the story. Your character isn't in those games and the story doesn't happen.

TES games need that less so as there is a main story but, well... USUALLY the side quest shit is far more interesting than the main story.

I don't mind bugs either but Skyrim had some very headscratching "how the fuck did no one catch this?" sorta bugs:

Chance it was a raccoon, but the only animal that sneaks into the garage is a possum. A quick glance at teh google tells me I'm probably wrong about what attacked him though. Whatever it was gouged the hell out his face, too close to his eye for comfort.

Taking a bit of a Devil's Advocate stance as I personally hate career politicians.

SOME experience holding an office would be nice prior to hitting the national level. Like working on a city or county council, or in a Governor's office or a State House/Senate first. Learn the ropes a little.

You don't see dudes make their pro MMA debut fighting Jon Jones to headline a PPV card (unless you're James Toney and Dana has a hard on to embarrass you).
The difference between Trump and AOC is that Trump ran for the highest office while AOC ran for a Congressional district. So while I see what you're saying here and it has merit, I think it applies more so to the higher levels of government and therefore more so to Trump than AOC
