I distinctly recall detailing for you the reason for the disparity in our respective BBQ habits. I mean, I bet you even frequently have days when there is no wind at all. I think I recall us having one or two last year. The weather here has been shitty lately--cold or wet or both. Even today there was a constant cold wind blowing and the sun was hidden by clouds about 70% of the time, but it was a fuck of a lot better than it has been for the last month so I elected to make the most of it.

Here's to it being all the more enjoyable for its rarity.

If you have a place to put one--I mean, if you don't it's moot right--you can get a perfectly serviceable small propane grill very cheaply these days. Like, a couple of hundred or less cheap. I wouldn't be throwing any parties of 20 or something like that, but it's big enough for about 4 smallish steaks and when doing yaki tori and such like on it I've cooked enough for a group of 10. Just my 2 cents.
