But what won the strike was the train being ran by the teamsters. They got there and literally went back to fucking Ohio without dropping off produce, and they won. There is power in the strike.

Every day for the past two weeks I pass by a picket line of steel workers that are locked out. What kind of scumbag employer locks out its workforce during a global pandemic? I get bargaining is challenging, but take a week off, let everyone keep working and come back to the table with clear heads.

Unfortunately, it's not new or uncommon for people to kidnap dogs for the ransom.

I just hope the dog walker is compensated VERY well. Imagine being laid up in a hospital with four bullet wounds and seeing your employer offer half a million for the return of the dogs.
 
@AgonyandIrony you mentioned trying to learn how to sleep in the previous thread; Sleep Hygiene is a catchall term for healthy sleep habits that i like to share w/ my patients (too many benzos being used chronically for sleep):

There are some more comprehensive do's and don't's lists out there, but this is the best explanation of the basics. Once you get these down you can look into additional tips from reputable sources (example: warm bath shower an hour or two prior to bed will help you relax in time to help sleep).
If you can adopt these corrections to your current routine you should start to see an improvement in your sleep cycles (with or without meds). Depending on how out of sorts. your sleep cycle is and how many factors contribute to it, this can take time and discipline, but health sleep is priceless.
