We had a judge out here who always was trying to get me to go to the LDS temple. Lots of Mormons out here, mostly Samoans and Hawaiians.

Lā`ie has the largest LDS temple outside of Utah. Mormons came out here early, to all the islands, back when haoles still called Hawaii the Sandwich Islands lol
A lot of Islanders out here in Utah too.

What if it isn’t and they’re genuinely happy? We’re missing out
They could be. But some of it feels really fake.

And old people make fun of the youngsters for waiting in line for a new smart phone

Granted I am looking at apartments near my office so my commute is super short but most decent apartments out here... at least $1000 a month before utilities and with the heat in the summer's I ain't going without A/C. Yes, first world problems I know.
It’s a dry heat though. :p

Alright my 23&Me results are in and I'm 98.3% British/Irish from Donegal and Glasgow, 1.5% Scandinavian and 0.2% "Broadly Western Asia & North Africa"

My mother's maiden name is definitely German though...... but I think that grandmother was kind of a fluzey.....

How many of you have visited Belgium without letting me know? Don't worry, I won't be angry haha

Yeah it still sucks but I remember the first time I went out west after living in the deep south my entire life and the lack of humidity was glorious.
You don’t remember Manti Teo and his fake GF?
WA could get humid too when it got really hot (especially during wildfire season) so I get it. The heat you still feel in Utah but it's not as bad.

Didn't forget about Teo and his gf but didn't realize that was the reference you were going for.

If I’m guessing, it means you’re mostly from the Ulster Scots region, or Scots Irish like some Americans call themselves.
