I can't speak for others, but when I do it, I generally use it only for troll posts too stupid to deserve comment or posts that are too obviously intended as rage bait.

These systems are so hyper intelligent, that they are trying to learn as much about each other to improve, and also to attempt to sabotage each other.
Crazy shit.
It’s estimated that within five years 20 to 40% of the workforce will be unemployed because AI will handle it much faster and much more efficiently.

My wife and I are translators. We laughed at AI's translations 2 years ago. Now, it's doing a great job and the number of contracts we get has gone down dramatically. It fucking sucks.

I've been deep diving Nazi Germany's history & influences lately, for no particular reason.. It's been so fascinating, not just from the clear modern parallels that almost jump out at you, but finding out that so many things they were drawn to in their critical years were so similar to what I was exposed & drawn to as well. It's a lot to think about.

I guess it's been awhile, I should probably clarify that I'm grateful the lessons I learned about the Holocaust & the American Civil Rights Movement as a kid were so impactful that I was protected from going down a dark path that I was vulnerable to.

Did you hear about the AI model that learned Indonesian entirely on it's own?

I honestly think AI might understand language better than people do. We understand it from a miopic point of view, but it scales it up to the macro. If it manipulates us, we wouldn't be able to tell until after the damage was done.
