- My mom passed away 15/12. Four days before her 77 birthday. She got really sick two days before her passing, the kidneys were compromized, and she was going to lose her feets and do a tracheotomiy(i aint searching the right way to spell). Só was the best for her to rest. I am like a caged lion, been taking care of her for the last 13 years, the last five were when she got more depending of me, now i dont know what to do.

You guys read that several times before, but Live your life at fullest, we only have one.
Sorry you and your family had to go through that.

Would any of you mother Canuckers here consider Nova Scotia a vacation destination? Especially during winter time?
-Hell yes. It's a shame I haven't been in the Maritimes yet. Nice places. Nice people.

-Not in the winter. A winter vacation deserves less snow, not more.

-Did you post this to doxx Canadians? (ask @Sara for an explanation if you don't get the joke)

im from nova scotia and would recommend a vacation there 100%. but id say go in the summer or autumn. enjoy swimming in the ocean or take in the fiery autumn foliage, check out the different festivals, its a quint lil place that does fun things like pumpkin people all over the town for halloween. that kinda stuff. its great. people are super friendly. good antiquing scene if youre into that. lots of history and neat places to visit relating to it.

Depends what you're going there for. If you're going for a true winter vacation with ice fishing and snowmobiling, then yeah. If you're going for for any other reason, then no.

Only ask me if your reading skills are past primary grades.

I was watching the Canadian feed of the FL @ Ottawa game and they kept showing commercials for Nova Scotia.

Hell yeah, Nova Scotia got some of that tourist ad money! Lol. I’ve been across Canada three times. Fav provinces are Nova Scotia (Altho a lil biased there), Ontario (the lakes and rolling hills part), and Alberta (come on, the mountains?!!). BC is alright too I guess lol. But I’d recommend a nice vacation to any of those. What an experience to take in.

"If you aren't there to fish or hunt, you're FUCKED."

That sounds very unfortunate for them lol

The fuck is a castrato? Is that like a cured meat? Salami? If so, then sign me up
I read a book about this, maybe Anne Rice, apparently if you snip the nuts off soon enough you can get man sized lungs singing with a woman's sounding voice...
