Pretty sure you gave me shit before about how posting music in the first page was your thing.

I just don't get the love for Neil Gaimen. I'm an avid reader and kept getting "American Gods" recommended to me. I gave in eventually and........ it was the worst book I've ever read. Seriously, it was so mind numbingly boring with zero interesting characters. I couldn't have cared less about any of the people or events in this book. Can someone please tell me what is so great about this book? Why is it so highly regarded?
Read Good Omens or Sandman sometime.I feel like I don’t get the love for fantasy in general. :/
Never liking Andrew Yang is really starting to pay off.

I read a story today about another republican scammer and huge Trump (he formed the students for trump group) supporter who posed as a partner from a large law firm and impersonated an attorney.
he charged people for his “legal advice.”
All these criminals flock to donald Trump. It’s no mystery why. I’m surprised trump won’t use this kid as his actual lawyer coming up soon
Since when is credit card fraud getting police to lift a finger? As a merchant I tried to report chargebacks as fraud and the answer was "tough shit". When my card gets used I've never known them to investigate. The just credit me back, issue a new card, and deduct the funds from the merchant at the point of sale.
If it’s scammers from overseas then you’re pretty much SooL. But people who locally steal credit cards and use them are basically 100% arrested and prosecuted in my experience. It’s a super easy crime to prove and catch the criminals.Agreed, still odd that it's being investigated then.

One type of cc fraud is perpetrated by sophisticated criminal syndicates who local law enforcement have no jurisdiction over and the other is literally the dumbest criminals around, and apparently Rumble Johnson fits in the latter group lmao
I was that way when he was in office but now it feels like such a waste of energy.Seriously dude, 85% of what you talk about is Trump or Republican related. It's absurd. You're more obsessed than the idiots who stormed the capital.

I'm not big on Urban Fantasy at all, and I found it enjoyable. Certainly hard to imagine it being the worst book you've ever read.
My favourite in that category is probably Tim Powers, Last Call. Least favourite currently on my shelf is Hal Duncans Vellum and Ink novels. Just a bit preachy and deliberately nebulous.
But has he threatened to kill someone on here, Kong?Well it is the war room and I don’t give a shit if you approve of it or not. You’ve never made a worthwhile political post the entire time you’ve been here.
What’s most likely happening is the numbers are dredged from databases and sold on the dark web, then the cards are used online from whoever somewhere. The end user may be located in the United States, but attempting to arrest and prosecute for each of them is likely cost prohibitive, especially when the thieves running the backbone of the operation are overseas. Most of my fraudulent charges are from other states, but still in the USA. They don't steal the cards, just the numbers (from my online purchasing I'd guess).
I don't know of you do audiobooks but here is a good one from Niel Gaiman...That's fair. I love me a good 1,000+ page epic fantasy novel. Not the only subject I read about, but I love my escapes if the world building and characters are interesting enough.
Sandman was gonna be the next one I was gonna try, but the years since reading American Gods have not erased the bad taste in my mouth. Even if Sandman is three times better than American Gods, 3x0 is still zero!
I should say, it's the worst book I've ever read all the way through. There have been books I've put down before, but that's rare. Urban Fantasy might not be my style, but I could at least take away an interesting character or two. Or maybe a great scene. I couldn't take any of that from American Gods. Not even the woman who consumed a whole adult by shoving him up her vagina at the beginning of the book.
