Finance/Crypto Would you marry someone with significant debt?

id been with the ex for about 3 years before i found about about her debt. she was about 7 months into her pregnancy with our first when she thought it would be a fair and appropriate time to bring it up.
Wow, that's just evil... hide it for three years until she knows you're 100% trapped. Talk about a scumbag move.

My wife got £90k from a trust fund when she was 18 she blew through it all, no debt though, she's a lot more responsible today.

It did make me think if I ever have kids and do a trust fund I'm locking it in until a lot older than 18.

I would ask her to pay most of it off before we get married as money is a problem in marriges. if she doesn't pay some of it off in like 3 years I move on to my mistress or my BBW.

if its 25k or less that not worth mentioning - I just eat it . If its 100k or more I question it unless ita Ana Di Armas then I just DGAF.

Depends why she's in debt. If she's just ^^ bad with money ^^ how much debt really doesn't matter because she'll eventually put you in debt too

This right here. Depends on the type of debt, her income/profession, her lifestyle, etc.

You have to be special levels of retarded to be six figures in consumer debt

Not sure about marriage but dating I would. Right now I'm seeing a women who used to own a small grocery store that went under. Assuming she's got debt. Shes in the process of finding a new location now. I dont know all the details.

She's also hot as hell and we get along great. I don't always make good decisions when it comes to women. Actually in hindsight my judgement is pretty bad
