Worst UFC cut of all time?

Jon Madsen was pretty bad. Dude was 4-1 in the UFC. And his only loss was a Doctor stoppage because his eye was closed shut (he was losing the fight though).

His sin was he was boring.

Also if I remember it right the ufc said before his last fight they were not going to resign AA. They put him on the under card and didn't interview him after he scored a k.o

I still think it's Kevin Souza, who got cut recently. He has a 94% finish rate and was in a winning streak before his last fight in which he almost stopped Skelly.

Kevin Souza contract was up he didnt get cut

What about Gerald Harris? Three wins by KO and one of them by slam, then has a terrible performance against Maiquel Falcao and gets cut. The fight sucked badly and Harris was down on the scorecards after the first two rounds but did not try to win the third round or even engage with Falcao. Three KOs and one sucky performance and he's done, that was a weird cut.

Jake Shields. Guy lost to Lombard and he got cut, even though he recently beat Maia in a fight where they mainly grappled...

I already did him... Poor Gerald... He even did well after getting cut but never got any appreciation. If anyone deserved a second chance it was him... I'm sure he did something behind the scenes that we don't know about. The cut was ridiculous.

Judges don't understand Jiu Jitsu. Maia was the only person trying to actually accomplish anything in the fight. IMO it was Maia's win or a draw, Shields won by virtue of thinking the person on top is winning.

I'll say that I didn't like the Rumble cut but I think it's the best thing that could have happened to him looking back on it
Rumble kept on coming overweight all the time, Dana just got tired of fights were people basically fighting in different weight classes.

That's why I said it was the best thing to happen to him. I knew that Rumble was one of the top guys when he was cut that's why I made that comment. He shoul dhave never been fighting at 170

Mark Coleman was a bad one too... I wanted him to fight Tito.

I wish people would rewatch that fight. It was very even and essentially came down to whether you favor aggression or control.

Was Werdum cut ? Either way, at the time 2-2 with 2 stoppages and loses to AA & JDS..considering the dept of the division and how big his name was.

that was Rumbles fault for only wanting to fight smaller people at the time

he was the one I thought of off the top of my head; especially with how well he did after being cut
