I think that avoiding being punched in the head is a good precautinary measure

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence

It makes A LOT of sense that receiving repeatedly blows in the head by trained 200lbs+ males is not good for you.

Even if we find out in the future that "CTE is not real", the most sensible thing to do in 2020 is to make sure athletes are aware that there is a risk.

But the people that don't think being hit in the head is bad are exactly the types of people we need for entertainment. I see no problem with it.

The average person can do a lot more for their brain health than they think, people will see these methods as a band aid in the face of a bullet wound but when you look at the data, it is surprising the effects something such as diet can have on brain size;
