Oktagon MMA — a regional promotion based out of Europe — has announced plans to employ open scoring for all fights moving forward starting with the upcoming event scheduled on Friday.

I am actually not that big of a fan of open scoring, at least for the fans perspective. I think corners should be allowed to see it

Is Oktagon financially struggling at all? They basically monopolized german MMA for the most part.

No, they are doing well for themselves, but obviously it's much better to just pay 1 million for 4 bouts then just a 1 million cheque. They are also running more weight classes this year so it's much easier to afford all that. 250K Euros per bout is still great especially for the European regionals

@Feniamin I saw Anatoly Tokov is scheduled to fight Ismailov in ACA, is he done with Bellator and now with ACA or just a one off?
