Wonderboy is proof that Traditional Martial Arts too deadly for MMA

Karate and TKD are effective. Basically everything that has legitimate sports competition is effective.

Wing Chun, Aikido and Ninjitsu are mostly garbage.

What the fuck was going on with the footage of the 'master' sparring/fighting with his 'students'?
All they all just playing around or do they believe they actually feel some force from those airstrikes?

Guessing you were big on "The era of the Dragon" too.

We all remember how that ended...

I love Wonderboy but he got dominated by Matt Brown. He's obviously improved since then but there isn't ever going to be one single unanswerable question in MMA, there are too many variables and adaptations. He's just a really great fighter and that's all.
Well said!

Stipe would kill a whole dojo full of Akido lords and still have time to hit the batting cages.

I fucking love Wonderboy because I love seeing traditional martial arts, that crazy shit we use to see in movies and video games as a kid, used in real life and shown to actually be applicable. But that doesn't mean it's superior, it's just working for now.

Pretty sure Uriah Hall was doing video game shit before Wonderboy came on the scene:
