I'm torn. She was a giant bitch and all but she gave him two monumental gifts; his only childhood friendship and she bore his child.

The childhood friend one is legit. Lord only knows if the kid was his. Besides, he was a millionaire, PingPong World Champion, Franchise owner, etc. He could've got any tail he wanted.

What is the consensus on that. I never for a moment thought that she just wanted to convince him that he was the father of Forrest Jr. to ensure her kid had a good life being raised by a wealthy, successful dude but I was nine years old when I saw that and too innocent to even suspect lol.

But he wanted her. She took his virginity too; I forgot that.

She was an abused child that absolutely spiraled. She certainly wasn't living right and she made mistake after mistake but I'm not sure she had a net negative effect in Forrest's life.

Fair enough. I still think she's a villain though.

SMG in Cruel Intentions. Phillippe is a heel too, mind you, and I don't buy the "redemption arc," but Gellar is definitely framed as the major antagonist.

lol sometimes I mix up whether Theron was the villain in F8 of the Furious or this movie or whether Collette was the villain in this movie or F8 of the Furious.

interesting two movies with Diesel released in pretty close proximity to one another had female villains.

Great call. SMG was nuclear hot in that flick

While we're talking about Cruel Intentions I gotta bring up Dangerous Liasons which was based on the same source material (From 18th century France). Glen Close played the SMG role, bagging herself an Oscar nom in the process

Dangerous Liasons is worth checking out if you're a fan of Cruel Intentions although the eye candy isn't quite at the same level (Prime Michelle Pfeiffer and Prime Uma Thurman though)

never saw it but knew it was based on the same material and knew it had a phenomenal cast. It’s funny to me that Keanu who is one of the least suited for a period piece type of actors I can think of was in that movie and Bram Stokers Dracula.

Close is great in any role.
