Depends on protocol. In the UK, police have the power to stop paramedics from administering first aid if the the victim has clearly suffered a non-survivable injury. This is to preserve the crime scene and stop evidence being contaminated. She'd been shot three times in the face at close range. First aid wouldn't have done her much good, I'm afraid.

That’s absolutely not a thing here. The only reason to not treat someone is if the scene is unsafe. It would not be unsafe in this case.

No, they don't have to paint individual lines for each spot. Most places don't to that. In fact, I only ever see that is at spots that have parking meters.

Guy, you clearly don't know the first thing about roads. You can park on the side of most roads unless stated otherwise.

There is ample room for parking on both sides, and it's a fucking 3 lane setup in terms of physical space. I'm on your side here, but your logic with the cars and parking is fucking whack.

Yeah she tore out of there so fast he was able to fire point blank multiple times while also easily stepping away from the path of the vehicle

...or if you apply enough gas to cause your tires to spin when someone is a couple feet in front of it. This is going to be his defense if it even gets that far and so far this is what the Feds seem to be using as self defense while local is looking into probing into it further. You can argue on a karate forum about your personal opinion on what use-of-force laws are and make smart ass remarks to me but ultimately it doesn't really matter how any of us want to interpret this in our heads.

It's unreal that the government would defend it without a second thought, too, no investigation, no time taken to assess all the details, just going with a generic claim that scarcely appears feasible from the video:

Indeed. Not only did they refuse to let nearby physicians attempt to render aid, they blocked the street off and made arriving paramedics walk down to her. You better believe heads should roll.

Yeah I am seeing that now. I hope that the MAGA base isn’t so far brain rotted that they see this as excusable on any level. To be perfectly honest I’m a bit on the fence about the shoot from the video and I don’t have the full story, but there is no excuse for barring medical attention to the person they just shot.
