Not really. Police officers aren't allowed to stand in front of vehicles any more and body block the vehicle. That is an oldschool strategy to manufacture a dangerous situation and prevent suspects from fleeing, but now it violates rules that specifically state that police may not use deadly force to stop suspects from fleeing.

This now violates all of the principles of de-escalation and can be grounds for denying justified use of deadly force.
