This is a horrible angle
Front angle
She hit the cops

Here’s the original
Doesn’t change the fact
This is a horrible angle

You guys need to stop defending the idea that she didn't accelerate and hit an officer. It's bullshit. She did.Why post a video that has been sped up?
Based on what was going on I don't even think she was aware that guy was there, she was clearly distracted by the other officers yelling and reaching into her car. It's true, I'm not sure what these people are watching. She most certainly accelerated into an agent and physically hit him.
However, if you care to read DHS protocol, that officer did everything INCORRECTLY given the situation. He created his own situation and took advantage of it to shoot.
This is PRECISELY the scenario that the policy was written for.
Two absolute STOOGES. Just another day in the USA.
Oh you are right, we should gladly accept that the agent should have blown her brains out.You guys need to stop defending the idea that she didn't accelerate and hit an officer. It's bullshit. She did.
However, the root of this situation lies at the feet of ICE and improper conduct. Both of these things can be true, and unfortunate.
It changes a lot, one loses frames the original loses the narrative you were trying to frame. The dude walks from the back of her vehicle on the passenger side to the front, while she is dealing with the other agent at her driver side door. What you are trying to do is pant this as proof off her intending to hit him to justify the case. What is clear is his actions put him in the direct line of conflict with the vehicle and he did so in the dumbest way possible.
Haven't actually seen a thread yet, which is bizarre.
It's unreal that the government would defend it without a second thought, too, no investigation, no time taken to assess all the details, just going with a generic claim that scarcely appears feasible from the video:
The Department of Homeland Security described the incident as an "act of domestic terrorism" and said the ICE agent "saved his own life and that of his fellow officers."
Surreal.
Turn off the lights, America is absolutely done.
Do not dare protest.
Do not disrupt.
Do not stand up.
According to some MAGA doggers on here, you should be shot for blowing a whistle. A whistle supposedly impedes investigations. Pretty soon protests will be outlawed. Somewhere Thomas Paine is spinning in his grave. I bet he never envisioned a police state. The agent who shot the woman did everything the OPPOSITE of what their own internal documents advise and allow as protocol.
Internal investigations by DHS indicated that most vehicle shootings were as a result of dumb agents stepping in front of fleeing vehicles, so as to provide a situation for them to fire their weapons.
Pathetic state of affairs.
Is that what I said, dummy?Oh you are right, we should gladly accept that the agent should have blown her brains out.
Legally, you can do that as long as you don't physically get in the way of arrests or investigations. So if you're physically in they way and they ask you to move, you gotta. But you dont have to completely leave the area iirc. Just stay a reasonable distance away.I think they were following them around jeering so people would be aware they were around. Not sure if that constitutes hindering or just legal protesting.

He's a political radical. In his view the left/libs are to be scorned.I was against the murder of Kirk and I posted as such in the thread. Not everyone is glued to the left or right wing and feels they have to stick with their talking points whether they agree or not.
Who do you mean by "You guys", people who disagree with shooting people at point blank range.
Also I would disagree with this, he made first contact with her truck with his arms and was pushed off when she tried pulling away, her wheels were clearly turned away from both officers. You guys need to stop defending the idea that she didn't accelerate and hit an officer. It's bullshit. She did.

100%. Helping police with specialists to relieve some of their everyday duties isn't even a bad idea, but calling it "defund the police" was monumentally stupid. We should be funding and training police, and getting them out in communities as friends of the law abiding public. If anything the police need more funding so people will actually want to do the job and they can weed out the trigger happy knuckleheads and cowards
She didn't. I agree. She was fleeing in fear and it was all within a matter of 2 seconds.Based on what was going on I don't even think she was aware that guy was there, she was clearly distracted by the other officers yelling and reaching into her car.
At the start of the video he was behind her vehicle talking to her partner, she never actually saw him.
If she intended to hit him, why torque the wheel in the exact opposite direction he was standing? You guys need to stop defending the idea that she didn't accelerate and hit an officer. It's bullshit. She did.

Oh thats all understandable. Its a tragic outcome.Well, the cop very obviously did not have to kill that woman. I think people would just like to see the tiniest level of respect for human life from people we entrust with our lives and our rights in public areas. Even when the life might belong to a stupid or annoying person. And some people got a little angry that the president and the director of ice rushed to tell us outright lies about what happened, before they even actually knew what happened themselves, because they care more about politics than determining whether or not a citizen was unnecessarily shot.
"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."
