The ICE agent was not in danger by the time he had shot the woman. In fact he was on the drivers side of the SUV when he fired his weapon. Also, he put himself in front of the SUV leading to what happened

I was talking to my friend who is retired from the Nassau PD where we both grew up on Long Island and he told me would in that situation not have fired his weapon. He also thinks based on this situation and how it was handled by ICE that the agents are not being trained properly
