Woman doing "extreme yoga" falls.

haha. Sorry but its true.

Gym bro's will never give yoga credit. I know that. But yoga builds functional strength often far better than pumping weights does.

Pumping weights builds muscle mass but not always functional strength because the focus is very different.
it's good for core strength and maybe some knee and shoulder extension but there's no pulling movements in yoga. Even this creepy yogi agrees

If your goal is to focus on a true full body work out in Yoga you will incorporate time in a yoga swing, or trapeze, and do workouts in door frames and other areas where you are still working with your body weight but can incorporate the movements done on a traditional pull up bar.

and ya that dude is super creepy. His arms are like 5 sizes to long for his body. Geez i thought I had long arms for my frame but there is no way that guy has ever bought a long sleeve shirt off the rack.

I've done yoga in some capacity for about 15 years. You don't need to go much more exotic or risky than hot yoga. I kind of think you would mess up the meditative qualities if you did.

Young and stupid.

That’s some “hold my beer” stupid.

I’m glad she lived and wish her well but if you are going to do high risk stuff then at least be educated about.

I’ve done plenty of high risk stuff but I knew the odds and how to keep the risk in the best control possible.

damn, how the hell do you get yourself to look like that? Did he inject estrogen at an early age? even his pecks look like breasts.
On topic: young women are nuts, they're very susceptible to mystical metaphysical workout bullshit. Hanging upside down from 10 stories? sure!!

Damn, 25 meters. Googled a 25 meter tall structure. Ghastly!!

Imagine breaking your neck on that and everyone thinks you died attempting to do autoerotic asphyxiation. Safer just to install a stripper pole and do those workouts.

Looks like a classic case of Marfan's.

Both Abraham Lincoln and Osama Bin Laden had it.

pilates as well.

10 stories and lived?

maybe yoga does work.
I honestly had no idea there were ten story buildings in Mexico. I wonder if there's some kind of exchange rate type shit? Ten American dollars is like five million Mexican pesos.

Different people do yoga for different reasons.

I started almost 2 years ago as my back issues were causing me increasing pain and discomfort and I was up to 3 physio therapy sessions a month and 6 or so massage therapy sessions and my physio guy suggested I start yoga.

Now almost 2 years later I no longer go to physio or massage at all and I feel my back and over health has improved immensely. Especially my functional strength.

The meditative stuff in yoga is fine but I have never had issues in that area so I could take or leave that aspect.
