Woman doing "extreme yoga" falls.

Imagine breaking your neck on that and everyone thinks you died attempting to do autoerotic asphyxiation. Safer just to install a stripper pole and do those workouts.

so functional...

Looks like a classic case of Marfan's.

Both Abraham Lincoln and Osama Bin Laden had it.

Hmmm, Marfan Syndrome, learned something today. thx.

Different people do yoga for different reasons.

I started almost 2 years ago as my back issues were causing me increasing pain and discomfort and I was up to 3 physio therapy sessions a month and 6 or so massage therapy sessions and my physio guy suggested I start yoga.

Now almost 2 years later I no longer go to physio or massage at all and I feel my back and over health has improved immensely. Especially my functional strength.

The meditative stuff in yoga is fine but I have never had issues in that area so I could take or leave that aspect.
Well then you don't need extreme yoga either. Are you where I was the first 3 years, doing it at home and noticing the health benefits? Once you go to a decent class a few times the meditative stuff is just there. You work out for 25 or 50 minutes, and then you have savasana.. You can't avoid it.

I go 5 times a week between 2 studios. I am all in and have seen major changes in my over all health.

Being a tall lanky guy with both minor scoliosis and a sway back, I have never had even remotely good flexibility. Something I could ignore when young but cannot ignore as I age. So for me yoga is all about increasing flexibility and functional strength.

Of course the meditative aspects are there and i am ok with them. BUt I have never had any issues in those areas. I have always done my own forms of self meditation, quieting the mind, etc and it comes very naturally to me.

If there was simply a 'stretching class' I could just easily take that was accessible as these yoga classes, I might do that instead, as that is what I am trying to address.

This type of yoga works if you have Saiyan genes but since we fragile as fuck then best to stick to regular yoga.

Ok.

I don't do it for the meditation either, but have had a few decent meditative moments doing it.

Those guys arent idiots. They are skilled adrenaline junkies that no their limits and abilities.

Girl in OP is just an attention whore(most likely) that done goofed

IMO
Hundreds of "skilled adrenaline junkies" are dying every year doing exactly what they're doing.

What they're doing is as dangerous as what caught her.

this is a real tragedy. She may never be attractive again.

Holy shit is that real?
I guess, it was the closest I could get to the old joke about they guy jumping and being heard to say, "so far so good" on the way down. (ok, pretty lame post as usual)

I think this was a base jumper, so he was prolly ok.

Knowing your limits and abilities doesn't mean much when there are plenty of things you can't account for in the real world.

Another social media stunt gone wrong- and weak pullups are to blame again.

warning: viewer discretion advised

Everyone, I urge you- do more pullups. Make it a priority to do 100 pullups a day, every day. It can save your life.

This was more than just pulls ups for that guy. He could clearly do the pull up. He needed to be able to do one of those pull ups where you go over the bar as well. I forget what they are called now.

Reminds me of that one couppe who tried taking pics or poses at the edge of a waterfall, water cliff something. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Now her family will be be in huge medical debt and every time they have to wipe her ass and feed her through a stomach tube they will resent her more and more each and every day...

Yeah, muscle-ups. But also his shoes were a problem. You can see he gets no traction when he tries to push with his feet cuz it was too slippery. They buttered that building up with crisco.
