I just saw this advertised on Facebook and assumed it was low effort AI slop. Didn’t realize it was real. This is like Couture vs Coleman, we’re getting it like 15 years later than people wanted.

What is LUX doing with Martinez? Second straight opponent with an upside down record, after she only fought once last year. Are fighters turning down fights against her, or are hey padding her stats for another shot on DWCS/UFC? What a waste

Some people are absolutely terrible managers. I bumped into fighter from GB which seems to be trained and managed by ex UFC fighter. She is 6-3 in amma. In October she went pro and is actually 0-2. - Last lose was month ago vs Oceane Samson. Seems like she got absolutely dominated. Her next opponent?

Mathilde Aschenbenner from France, in France. 16-4 amma (2x finished earlier mentioned Oceane Samson) and is 2-0 in pro. AKA how to get ur fighter 0-3 start in pro. Pure crazyness to me.

looks like blackman is training out of bangtao with other female sparring partners at the mo. i know one camp isn't enough to change everything, but it's a step in the right direction

I was thinking like Chuck v Wand, but better late than never?

Chuck vs Wand was late, but only by a couple of years. You have to remember, they fought in 2007 and started off that year as champions of their divisions in their respective organizations. This is much closer to Coleman vs Couture where that could have been an amazing fight anywhere from 1997-2000 but we got it in 2010.

If this is anything to go by, Miesha Tate won’t be fighting again anytime soon. She looks like a balloon



Edit, never mind. Seems a lot of IG posts don’t want to load on here these days. Anyways, she’s doing an interview, maybe a podcast, and looks puffy with a prominent double chin

I figured she had low-key stepped away, I wouldn't say she's a balloon, but she looks a "comfy" weight compared to fight-camp Miesha lol. She tried a comeback, had it's ups and downs, she can hold her head high if this is it.

Noticed that, but not sure this will make significant difference since her next opponent is armbar specialist which was training/sparring with UFC fighters already 10 months ago recording to her ig photos...
