Since she's 29... I can oficially replace her in my heart regarding the "Celine Haga" dispute, which is having a negative fighter finally breaking that .50 record.
Haga is 15-18 and has not fought in 2 years. She's also 41 and probably won't win 3 more to end her career 18-18
Bianca Sattelmayer is currently 12-13, active and 29... She may become the only Sattelmayer with a positive record!

Some thoughts since I haven't posted in a while. Suarez seems to be going backwards in her wrestling which is not a good thing at all. What made her so effective in the past was her ability to keep chain wrestling and transition from one technique to the next until her opponent gets overwhelmed and goes down, but in her last couple fights she hasn't been able to do that. Against Weili I thought it was superior wrestling defence by Zhang and some ring rust from Suarez after coming back from injury, but the Lemos fight convinced me otherwise. Suarez is now doing the same thing that most other women are doing - trying to force a given technique (single leg, body lock, etc.) when it's not working and getting stalled out instead of transitioning and moving on to the next move in the chain. Not surprisingly her takedown effectiveness went down a lot.

Karolina needs to retire before she gets really hurt. She doesn't take punches well anymore and basically looks like she doesn't want to be in the cage after eating a couple good strikes. Can't really match her up against a can because of her name value so I'm not sure if there's a winnable retirement fight for her.

Always thought Jasmine J's striking defence was pretty lacking, she's relied a lot on her toughness and willingness to eat strikes so she can close in & get her grappling going, but I didn't expect her to run herself face first into a punch as perfectly as she did against Fiorot. She somehow stepped in and lined up her face so well that it got spun around by Fiorot's left straight, reminded me a lot of Holly vs. Ronda.

Going back into hibernation mode for a while, I'm a lot more into music than MMA these days and the UFC's shitty matchmaking ain't helping. I'm always happy to drop by and chat with you guys though, it reminds me of why I loved the sport as much as I did for so long.

To be honest I'm pretty saddened that we never got to see Carla vs. Jessica Andrade in a battle of the shorties, but at least we got Tecia vs. Carla.

Unfortunately I don't know much about guitar amps, it's a completely different world from hi-fi audio amps - guitar amps are all about creating tone & crunch from tube & transformer distortions whereas I'm trying to build amps which are as clean & undistorted as possible. The circuit design principles are completely different, it's kinda like the difference between making realistic paintings and doing Salvador Dali stuff.

I took a quick look through the Ceriatone catalogue & schematics and the amps look pretty solid as far as I can tell, I don't see any obvious flaws such as parts operated outside their safe limits or anything like that. They do push the output tubes harder than I would in an audio setup but that's kinda necessary to get proper guitar tone. Personal thoughts, build the lower power amps that use a single pair of 6V6, 6L6, or EL34 tubes on the output. It makes the circuit much easier to build & troubleshoot if you run into issues, and 20-30W with tubes will play plenty loud.
