As for the weekend, pretty much nothing tonight, Bellator at noon EDT tomorrow on MAX, Combate has a ladies bout on Univision and Fuse, and LFA has a bout on Fight Pass

Michelle is my idea of HOT! (I just had to say it). She also has a wrestling background of sorts. That's like a free win. Easy pick. Montague DEC
However, tapology lists Sobek's style as 'wrestling' as well. Maybe it'll be competitive then...

Olenya Kolesnyk vs Sara Collins:
Cancelled fight - I was gonna say, Sara Collins has a good background in Judo. That's almost as good as a being a low level wrestler! However Coleslawnyk pulled out already. Probably 50lbs over as usual, at least she withdrew well before weigh in day this time if so. Shame BelLOLtor couldn't pull someone out of an Irish pub to sub in for her.

Sidney Trillo vs Brittany Camozzi
Trillo is a vicious little kickyboxy girl and I like her collection of vibrant leopard print fight attire (isn't it a shame only a shrinking handful of orgs allow fighters to express themselves with their own gear nowadays?). She nearly lasted the distance with Fatima Kline so I can't see Camozzi finishing her other than by 'luck'. Trillo by (T)KO.

(A lot of people talk about the 'groomer coaches' in WMMA but at least those often end up being decent fighters. What about WAG fighters like Kim Couture (3-8), Ray Borg's wife (3-8), or Camozzi here (1-3) (wife of former UFC fighter Brian Carmozzi)? Being a fighter waifu may be the worst base for WMMA)

Nerja Repp vs Veronika Borisova
UFC contender contendership fight. Nerja is not very experienced/technical but very strong, which has carried her to victory in all except a mirror match against Shannon Clark who was just stronger (frankly, levels of muscularity seldom seen outside of Brazilian WMMA) and is now on Dana's Cantenders this season as a result. Boris beat Shavkat's sister in Kazak MMA, I thought it would be 'grappler beat striker' stuff but actually Boris looked pretty sloppy on the ground and mostly won due to being faster on the feet. She seems to have a 'Sambo for women's self defence' system of grappling - sloppy head and arm throw into Dandois lock (aka the 'Ayaka Miura lock') attempts. I think 'muricin MMA schooled Repp is going to be too stronk for that stuff and will win via powerbonk to Boris's dome (on the feet or on the mat after a failed head and arm throw). Repp (T)KO

Tattoo watch: Boris has a 'vegvísir' type tattoo thing on her calf. Viktoria Dudakova also has that somewhere on her so this viking-themed tat seems to be popular on Russian women scrappers for whatever reason. However below that, on her ankle, Boris has a tattoo of the silhouette of a bicycle. I don't know why but I think it looks hilarious. So my 'thing to watch out for' in this fight is Boris's bicycle tattoo.
