Signings/Scouting WMMA Discussion #29

Truly disappointed in Luana for that performance.
Had the fight in the bag, gassed herself out while Hibas was still game.
Pudliova needs to step aside from fighing.
Sub par showing.

Disappointing showing from Pudilova. Yet more great ground work out of an SBG Ireland fighter. Did great in the third, but didn’t make the necessary adjustments to finish the choke. Did better on the feet, forcing Perez to go to the ground. Perez? Ugh. I could forgive Pudilova for losing to someone else. This? Ugh

Don’t care for Ribas, but I like Pinheiro even less for pulling an Aljo against Markos, so nice finish for Ribas.

She pulled an aljo?
Dude... Aljo pulled a pinheiro...

I still remember her coach carrying her out of the octagon in his arms lol

link: 2 female UFC fighters, coach involved in ugly brawl before event; Ailin Perez still wins UFC bout after

"As fans and pundits noticed Ailin Perez’s black eye even before her UFC fight, reports began to surface on a prior brawl between two UFC fighters and a coach. Joselyne Edwards was named as the one who supposedly caused the damage to her eye, in what is described to be a pretty ugly scene."

no-one comes off good in this situation, esp. if perez's coach had to be pulled off edwards
Lol yeah everyone is giving vague or incomplete statements.

From what Ive read at the heavies,
Lol yeah everyone is giving vague or incomplete statements.
I agree.
My best theory is that Perez team asked her to provoke joselyne so they could have a story to justify a callout (Perez seems to love trash talking)... And things went awry...

Seems like all the women's divisions are stalled out at the top right now. Matchmakers need to get busy and start booking all the ranked fighters.

I was hoping for some news on Blanchfield or Fiorot by now, but it looks like they're all really going to wait around to see what is going on with Grasso and Shevchenko.....I hope that isn't the case.

With the now official Bellator acquisition by the PFL, I expect to see Jennifer Maia and Taila Santos signing with them soon.

The fact that Cyborg, Harrison, and Pacheco will all be signed to the same promotion is NUTS. One could wish that they'll bring Nunes out of retirement, but that's very unlikely to happen. Yet Cyborg vs Pacheco is the closest we'll get to Cyborg vs Nunes 2, and I'm here for it.

Happy for Arlene Blencowe too, as she was very open about how difficult it has been to deal with all the uncertainty about Bellator folding. She's got a home still, and now a larger roster to compete with :)

So are posts from TwiX still not posting?

Edit: guess not. The next edition of Shoot COLORS (all women’s shows) has been set.
