With Arlovski probably retiring this month, Stipe is gonna be holding 0 fights over currently active UFC fighters

All this commotion wouldn't exist if Jones wasn't a complete narcissist. If he dropped the belt and just had a closure fight with Stipe, nobody would have anything to complain about....

Stipe should retire but the fool is going full Tony Ferguson and wants to fight Jon which is a huge risk as he's putting a lot on the line, his fanbase, his dignity/image in the sport...etc which if he losses, I can't imagine the number of fans who are gonna turn their backs on him, because when Stipe losses to Jon which most likely he will, he should not act like as if his fans didn't warn him before the Jon fight and will feel apologetic to his fans, so why Stipe has to fight Jon? what else he needs to prove or accomplish? if he has to retire then that's his time to retire.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the miracle of Stipe winning and prove many people wrong including me and Jon losses to the guy that had the least chance of beating him, cause yes, Stipe has the lowest chance at beating Jon among all the current ranked HW fighters, I can even bet that Gane in a rematch would put on a much better performance against Jon than Stipe if he'd be fighting Jon.

Edit: and about Arlovski retiring this year, this interview was in 2019, we're in 2024 now

Well there's a reason why the UFC rebooked his fight from 15th June to UFC 303 which is after 2 weeks, because it'd be a better way for him to go out, like how they booked Lawler vs Price at UFC 290, in a PPV event in a sold out arena and a sold out crowd, which he will get paid more and retire with having the crowd respect and chanting his name while taking off the gloves and put them in the center of the octagon and we bid farewell to this legend, and I hope the UFC inducts him to HOF in the beginning of the next year of 2025 like 100% he deserves HOF by beginning of 2025.

NGL, it's pretty cool how grandpa Arlovski kept making 300k+ per fight in show money for the last 7-8 years, despite not even being in the top 15. The man has paid his dues.

Sorry to interrupt your silly cripple fight ladies, but I am curious as to how the fuck someone could even watch UFC without drinking and gambling?

The only thing getting normal people through an Apex card is a bottle of scotch and the knowledge that they just bet the house on a random bum just because the other guy had even worse tattoos.

Is watching UFC prelims sober and without gambling some form of masochistic sexual kink?
