I don't know for sure, but I have a hunch it may be because I am a fat greedy cunt?
lol... oh yeah, I meant to tell you that I finally made it out to an authentic India food restaurant. It got a lot of reviews for being authentic & there was a guy eating there who was from India & verified that.

I had a really good curry as well as trying the famous butter nut chicken. The butter nut chicken didn't impress me for as much as I heard about it. It was good, but it didn't wow me like I expected with all the hype behind it. I must say though, I enjoyed my improvisations in my own kitchen just cooking blind as much as their food. Their sauces were much thicker than mine though. I might try & sneak a method out from them next time I go.

Yeah butter chicken is very very rich if that's you one you had. My wife loves those creamy dishes but I can't even touch them.
I mean I do, and they taste great but they really fuck up my stomach. Dairy does not agree with me at all

naga mushroom chicken is my favorite from recent meals

I wonder if that's what got you about the raccoon food you ate. Like maybe they had some dairy in teh soup.

Awe, my place doesn't have that. It's okay, there are others I want to try out as well. This one was located perfectly right next to an "India/Asian market" though so I thought that was cool. I waddled my full belly in there afterward & got some fresh ingredients for the house!

Bro, what's the deal with "Indian street food." I was a bit confused when they told me that as if it were a badge of honor. My first thought was, "ewe.... it's some nasty cart on the street or something" & I felt a little embarrassed for them (for lack of better words) but they happily explained that it wasn't "fine dining India food", & they were proud of the fact it was street food.

Do you know what that's all about? Do you prefer one over the other?

No it really was just me being a massively greedy fat bastard

I guess the difference is that curries can take hours to cook, the street food is equally as good and tasty but knocked up real quick.
Loads of variations on everything and probably quite unique to each cook. Cooked to order as well, whereas the curries would all be ready made and simmering the whole time.
in fact I'd imagine they may even cook some of it on display rather than behind closed doors in the kitchen

Chicken 65 is a typical one we get a lot over here, bloody fantastic

@Ottawaguy might have a good idea as he likely still has Indian street food coursing through his veins
