It's already been a net positive imo. Is it dangerous, yes. Will it be disruptive, yes. Will good things get the hammer, probably. Will there be people taking advantage of it at our expense, yep...but the US government has become entirely too corrupt. I've been waiting my entire life for some meaningful change at the federal level and if comes via trump, Elon and the right side of isle, so be it. The "State" made a mistake trying to go after the "right" populism like they used to go after the "left" populism. The "left" made a mistake demonizing trump because they have no options but to yell at the sky now instead of helping shape this momentum.
