I dont think the issue is him not being embraced as a fighter. It's his personality outside of fighting that people have an issue with. in the cage he's a killer. Outside, he's a bit of a dick.

Sure a bit of a, but I don’t think he goes too overboard with it. He made a little noise following the Volk fight, which is understandable but since then he has taken the Holloway Fight and isn’t saying much, seems to be just focussed on training and winning. Maybe not the most humble fighter on the roster, but certainly nowhere near being the most insufferable.

I give him credit for being the best at his weight right now but who has he beaten besides Volk? He has fought basically one top level guy. Again, credit for winning that fight but I think if he is going to move up in the pantheon of great fighters he's going to have to have more title defenses and more fights VS the biggest names. Beating Max would definitely be a big boost though.

Nah he's said some dumb shit lately that's made a lot of people sour on him. Instead of capitalising on the Volk win he's kinda fucked it up by making people think he's a cock.
