It’s not their job to defend Ukraine. The last time I checked the UFC was a mixed martial arts organization. Let’s keep the politics out of it and focus on the athletes, not their nationality.

This sounds good only on the surface, because the very comment of "keep politics out of it" is in itself a political statement. That, and consider all of the other causes the UFC has promoted or takes money from. No, the UFC is not going to end the Russian invasion, but I think the OP's point was that as a large, globally recognizable company they could perhaps do something to help refugees, pile more pressure on Putin, etc.

Foreign powers funded change and propaganda (On both sides) and Americans took control of the area politically in close collaboration with the EU.
