I think we can agree Cejudo has the better striking and footwork.. But how does Cejudo and Bagautinovs grappling compare?

I cant imagine either one is much better at MMA grappling, just that Cejudo probably does more damage from the clinch while Bagautinov is purely looking to drag you down.

Cejudo vs MM is going to be an excellent fight. Thoughts?

I agree its going to be great but we are in the minority most are selling Cejudo well short in terms of having any form of a chance.

That's sadly pretty likely.
Hope it doesn't get that terrible.

Cejudo is ten times the athlete Bagauitinov is, his striking is also more diverse than Baga winging the right hand for an entire fight.

Hopefully Cejudo saves the FLW division from the stale division it has become with MM as its champ.

It'll look like every other MMA fight. I expect him to take Cejudo down surprisingly often.

Cejudo didn't look very good Vs Jussier Da Silva, I think MM run over Him.. MM really dominate that division...

I honestly see this as MM's toughest fight at 125... for 3 rounds.
Then Cejudo will probably gas and MM will take it.
It's a competitive match up. People are just of the opinion that MM is invincible because he's P4P #1.

You realize why Ali was forced into throwing one strike at a time right? He was getting frustrated, shut down, and didn't know what was coming next. Ali is a great athlete, I know he's not an Olympic gold medalist but he's probably a better athlete than nearly everyone else in the division, besides DJ, Cejudo, and Benavidez.

I will never understand people who think MM is stale or boring, and people with that opinion are seriously ignorant in my opinion. DJ is one of my favorite to watch and his performances are always so clean and impressive; I don't know how anyone would think his fights with Ali, Dodson 2, or Horiguchi were boring at all.

> Implying Bagauitinov has ever thrown a combo in his career

> Implying MM fights are fun...

Even Conor thinks MM and Hume are masterful and enjoyable to watch. True martial artists appreciate the technique and his approach to the game.

And I see plenty of combos in this highlight

Hard to say.

Despite getting Rick rolled by Mighty Mouse, Ali got popped for EPO during that fight. Didn't seem to help him any.

Cejudo might be lucky to score a takedown or two but that would be the full extent of his success in that fight.

Maybe Mighty Mouse would make the cejudo fight look easier than the Ali fight.

Some people think it's an automatic terrible fight with no finish

Conor also still thinks Ronda is undefeated and the best thing since sliced bread lol... The guy is a Zuffa shill, he would never bite the hand that feeds him.

Don't get me wrong MM is a solid fighter, but he's also the same guy who took refuge in a made up division after he realized he couldn't cut it @ BW.

Cejudo seems really confident. I like his chances and I at least expect him to be the better stronger wrestler in the fight. Mouse Johnson is the better overall MMA fighter but I just hope it's competitive.

Cejudo will win the fight I think. Sherdog will be massively offended by the fact that Cejudo took him down at will and won the fight that way, but that is how it will happen. Will be fun to watch Sherdog actually supporting MM again.

We can only hope.

agreed. I think Cejudo is more than capable to make this a competitive contest so long as his gas tank in suitable for 25 minutes.

Will be pretty similar. Cejudo will try to throw less so he can go 5 rounds, he can't get his hands on MM to wrestle him or catch him with strikes.

MM will go in and out, score points and win a pretty boring 50-45. Hopefully I'm wrong and we get one hell of a scrap. Just don't see it.

Cejudo is going to either win or lose a split or a really close 48-47 unanimous, where he comes out looking better than anyone expects. Kinda like Gus vs Jones, have a feeling it'll be a war whether MM wants it or not.
